Suspicious Vehicle - Drug Law Violation - Monday, May 13, 2019

SUBJECT:      SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE / DRUG LAW VIOLATION

                        IRVIN THOMAS

 

NAPOLEONVILLE Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Irvin Thomas, 58, of 110 Richard Lane, Napoleonville, LA, after a uniformed patrol officer investigated a suspicious vehicle early Saturday morning.

The deputy was conducting patrol duties on LA 308 near Ingleside, south of Napoleonville when he observed an SUV parked off of the roadway.

Upon examination, the deputy observed two occupants, one of which was identified as Irvin Thomas.

While speaking to both occupants, the deputy noted drug paraphernalia and suspected crack cocaine in plain view.

After interviewing both individuals, Irvin Thomas accepted ownership of the illegal contraband.

Thomas was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

            *Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

            *Possession of Crack Cocaine

Thomas was incarcerated awaiting a bond hearing.
