I.C.E. Unit Nets 2 Fugitive Arrests - Thursday, April 25, 2019

SUBJECT:      I.C.E. UNIT NETS 2 FUGITIVE ARRESTS

                        TEARSTASHIA ANGELICIA WILLIAMS and CHRISTOPHER SMITH

 

 

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Tearstashia Angelicia Williams, 24, of 35038 Highway 1, North Donaldsonville and Christopher Smith, 30, of 7000 Water Wheel Drive in Bakersfield, California.

 

The Sheriff’s I.C.E. Unit officers patrolling in the Belle Rose area observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and effected a traffic stop.

 

Deputies assigned to the I.C.E. Unit detail noted three occupants in the vehicle.  Deputies conducted warrant checks on the individuals.

 

Tearstashia Angelicia Williams was wanted on a fugitive warrant in Ascension Parish.  She was booked and released to that jurisdiction.

 

Christopher Smith was wanted on felony assault charges in Bakersfield, California.

 

Smith was incarcerated in the Assumption Parish Detention Center pending extradition proceedings to return him to the state of California.
