Drug Law Violations - Heroin, Meth-Amphetamine - Monday, April 8, 2019

SUBJECT:      DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – HEROIN, METH-AMPHETAMINE

                        LATISHA M. LANDRY

 

PIERRE PART– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Latisha M. Landry, 35, of 107 Cross La Rue Street, Pierre Part, LA, on drug law violations.

 

On Saturday afternoon, deputies received information that indicated Latisha M. Landry was in possession of a combination of controlled dangerous substances.

 

Latisha M. Landry is a convicted felon and has multiple prior arrests for drug law violations.  Landry has been one of the subjects of a much broader continuing narcotics investigation.

 

Latisha Landry was stopped at a local business establishment she walked into on Saturday and was interviewed by deputies.

 

As a result, quantities of heroin and meth-amphetamine was seized along with assorted drug paraphernalia.

 

Landry was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

 

            *Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute

            *Possession of Meth-Amphetamine with Intent to Distribute to Distribute

            *Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

 

Landry remains incarcerated with bond set at $80,000.

 

A probation / parole hold is expected to be received on Monday.
