Unauthorized Use of a Movable - Wednesday, April 3, 2019

                        RONALD J. ARMOND, JR.

 

 

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ronald J. Armond, Jr., 25, of 248 Muriel Street, Bayou L’Ourse on charges related to a complaint in January of 2019.

 

On January 25, 2019, deputies responded to a complaint in which a vehicle owner indicated that Ronald J. Armond, Jr. had picked up her car on January 22, 2019 to do repair work and was supposed to return it the same day but never did.

 

Responding deputies entered the vehicle in the computer database as stolen and filed an arrest warrant against Armond for unauthorized use.

 

On January 30, 2019, Louisiana State Police Troop L, contacted Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office that the vehicle in question was involved in a high-speed law-enforcement pursuit in St. Tammany Parish and identified Armond as the driver.  Armond was arrested and incarcerated in St. Tammany Parish.

 

Armond was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a count of:

           

            *Unauthorized Use of a Movable

 

Upon release, Armond is wanted on criminal charges in St. Mary Parish.

 

Armond remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
