LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon
reports the arrest of Alfred Adams, 41, of 107 Palm Lane, Labadieville, LA and
the issuance of a summons to Warren Joseph Brown, 38, of 3026 Highway 308,
Naploeonville, LA, on charges related to a traffic stop which occurred on
Thursday evening in Labadieville.
A uniformed patrol deputy was northbound on LA 1 when
he observed a southbound vehicle cross the center line into the northbound
The deputy executed a traffic stop and identified the
driver as Alfred Adams. The deputy
interviewed the driver and noted him to be evasive and nervous. When the deputy interviewed the passenger, he
provided a fictitious name. The passenger was later identified and
arrested. During a routine pat down
search, a quantity of marijuana was seized from him. The passenger was identified as Warren Joseph
Deputies and detectives observed a quantity of crack
cocaine in plain view. Alfred Adams was
arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

on Roadway Landed for Traffic
Alfred Adams was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
Warren Joseph Brown was issued misdemeanor summons for
Possession of Marijuana, Resisting an Officer by Providing False
Information. He was released.
