Drug Law Violations, "Operation Summer Heat" - Friday, February 8, 2019

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Clarence Bell, Jr., 54, of 268 Highway 998, Belle Rose, LA, on drug distribution charges related to last year’s, "Operation Summer Heat”.

In a broad sweeping parish wide operation, "Summer Heat” focused on illegal drug trade activities.

During the investigation, Clarence Bell, Jr. is alleged to have distributed a quantity of cocaine resulting in a warrant being filed for his arrest.

Clarence Bell, Jr. fled the area and remained at large until his recent arrest in Marion County, Florida.  Bell was transported back to the 23rd Judicial District and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Wednesday on charges of:

            *Distribution of Cocaine

Bell remains incarcerated pending bail proceedings.
