Lizzy wrote a bio of being a daughter of an
addict. Her story documented the effects
of mental illness, drug addiction and death of close family members resulting
from drug abuse and / or mental illness.
Lizzy’s message was powerful and had an emotional
effect on all in attendance.
Lizzy plays the piano and enjoys singing. After her bio presentation, Lizzy dedicated a
song entitled "Hallelujah” to all persons struggling with mental illness and
addiction, those who have succumbed to addiction, and in memory of her Aunt Amy
LeBlanc.
Sheriff Falcon congratulates all students who
completed the D.A.R.E. Program, the faculty of Pierre Part Elementary and all
