ASSUMPTION – The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s S.W.A.T. Team has conducted drills this week at educational facilities in the parish.

As part of Sheriff Leland Falcon’s Training Program, S.W.A.T. exercises are essential to being prepared for an actual event.

"While we hope we are not needed during real life incidents, it is inevitable. When those events occur and we are called upon, it is essential that we are prepared for any situation”, Sheriff Falcon said.
