Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling - Wednesday, January 16, 2019

SUBJECT:      UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY OF AN INHABITED DWELLING

                        DWAYNE RENE THOMAS, JR.

 

PAINCOURTVILLE Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dwayne Rene Thomas, Jr., 30, of Virginia Street, Belle Rose, LA, after a homeowner awoke Monday to find Thomas entering her home through a window.

Deputies were dispatched to a Paincourtville residence on Monday afternoon and interviewed the complainant.

When the homeowner made eye contact with Thomas, he fled from the home.  The homeowner was able to identify Thomas.

Deputies located and arrested Thomas at a Belle Rose address.

Dwayne Paul Thomas was transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center where he was booked on a charge of:

            *Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling

            *Probation / Parole Violation

Thomas was on parole / probation for a prior felony conviction.  Thomas remains incarcerated awaiting a bond hearing.
