Disturbance / Aggravated Battery - Friday, January 4, 2019

                        KIAWANTA NICOLE JOHNSON

 

 

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kiawanta Nicole Johnson, 24, of 3732 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, on charges related to an incident which occurred near Napoleonville on Thursday.

 

Deputies responded to a disturbance call at a location near LA 401.  Upon arrival, deputies attempted to interview Johnson but was unable due to her angry outburst.

 

Deputies spoke to the alleged victim who indicated that an argument occurred between him and Johnson over a Facebook post.  Johnson then went to the victim’s location.  Once there, Johnson struck the victim with a piece of pipe and caused damage to the complainant’s personal property.

 

Deputies arrested Johnson, transported her to the Assumption Parish Detention Center where she was booked on charges of:

           

            *Aggravated Battery

            *Simple Criminal Damage to Property

 

Johnson remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
