SUPREME – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bradley J. Worley, 28, of 3231 Delaune Street, Labadieville, LA, on drug related charges following a Monday traffic stop near Supreme, LA.


A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation in the area of LA 1 and Supreme Road.  The deputy proceeded to follow the vehicle and observed the vehicle commit another traffic violation.  The officer activated his emergency lights and proceeded to conduct a traffic stop.  At some point, the driver tossed items out of the driver’s window.  A short distance later, the vehicle pulled over at which time the driver was identified as Bradley J. Worley.  A second patrol deputy following the first unit was able to recover the tossed items from the roadway which included a quantity of suspected heroin.


Bradley Worley was searched in the interest of officer safety and additional heroin was seized off of his person.


Worley was arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center where he was booked on charges of:


            *Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute


            *Obstruction of Justice


            *Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic


            *No Driver’s License


            *Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances in the Presence of Persons Under the age of 17


            *Improper Use of Child Passenger Restraint Systems (2 Counts)


Bradley Worley remains incarcerated with a bond set at $155,000.
