Termeka Wesley, Cedric B. Johnson, Kenya Marie Lewis and Charles Richard - Wednesday, December 19, 2018

JOHNSON, KENYA MARIE LEWIS and CHARLES RICHARD

 

 

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Termeka Wesley Lewis, 38, of 108 Marshall Lane, Napoleonville, LA, Cedric B. Johnson, 28, of 3734 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, Kenya Marie Lewis, 21, of 108 Marshall Lane, Napoleonville, LA and a 14-year-old juvenile.  Detectives are also seeking to arrest Charles Richard, 27, of 300 College Street, Napoleonville, LA.

 

On December 17, 2018, deputies responded to a complaint of a residential burglary near Platteville, LA.  It was determined that electronics, jewelry and assorted other valuables had been stolen.  Forced entry was made into the home.

 

Through follow-up investigation, detectives were able to recover the vast majority of the stolen property and return it to the owners.  A weapon from a previous burglary was also recovered.

 

Detectives were able to identify the suspects as they openly indicated that they would commit a burglary to obtain Christmas presents and they subsequently carried out their plan.

 

Each suspect was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center as follows:

           

            Kenya Marie Lewis

                        *Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling

                        *Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile        

                        *Probation / Parole Violation

 

Kenya Marie Lewis is being held without bond.

 

            Cedric B. Johnson

                        *Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling

                        *Illegal Possession of Stolen Things

 

Cedric B. Johnson’s bond is set at $50,000.

 

            Termeka Wesley Lewis

                        *Illegal Possession of Stolen Things

                        *Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling

                        *Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile

 

Termeka Wesley Lewis’ bond is set at $50,000.

 

A 14-year-old juvenile was charge with one count of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling.

 

Detectives have issued arrest warrants for Charles Richard, 27, of 300 College Street, Napoleonville, LA on charges of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling and one count of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile.

 

Richard is also wanted on unrelated arrest warrants.
