Felony Theft, Felony Criminal Damage to Property - Friday, November 2, 2018

SUBJECT:      FELONY THEFT, FELONY CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY 

                        MATTHEW STRUBB

 

 

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Matthew Strubb, 20, of 1803 Canal Drive, Franklin, LA, on charges related to the theft of a 4-wheeler which occurred on or about October 3, 2018 from the Bayou L’Ourse area.

 

Detectives initiated an investigation and were able to recover the 4-wheeler with the assistance of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office.

 

Upon recovery, detectives noted that the ATV was damaged.

 

Detectives through their investigation were able to identify Matthew Strubb as a suspect.

 

Agents obtained arrest warrants for Strubb and developed information that Strubb was working in Port Fourchon.

 

On October 30, 2018, Strubb was arrested, transferred to the Assumption Parish Detention Center on October 31, 2018 at which time he was booked on charges of:

 

            *Theft (Felony)

 

            *Simple Criminal Damage to Property (Felony)

 

Strubb was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
