Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment - Friday, October 26, 2018

SUBJECT:      DOMESTIC ABUSE BATTERY WITH CHILD ENDANGERMENT

 

 

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Keion Dontya Clinton, 27, of 3218 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, on charges related to a domestic incident which occurred on 9-29-2017.

 

On that date, deputies responded to an address near Napoleonville and made contact with the complainant. She indicated that Keion Dontya Clinton whom she had a prior relationship, had struck her numerous times after he became angry when she dropped their child off with him.

 

Clinton allegedly shattered the windshield on the complainant’s vehicle.

 

Based on the victim’s statement as well as evidence observed at the scene, deputies requested and were granted an arrest warrant for Keion Dontya Clinton.  The suspect fled the area and he was subsequently arrested on Thursday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

           

            *Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment

 

            *Simple Criminal Damage to Property

 

Clinton was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
