Felony Theft - Thursday, October 25, 2018

SUBJECT:      FELONY THEFT / PERCY WILLIAMS

 

 

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Percy Williams, 27, of 112 Marshall Lane, Napoleonville, LA, on felony theft charges related to the theft of tractor and 18-wheeler parts from a Labadieville farm operation.

 

On October 11, 2018, the Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of theft from the business owners and responded to the location.

 

Detectives initiated an investigation and obtained photo images of the suspect vehicle and were able to see the suspects from a distance.

 

Detectives determined that similar mechanical parts had been sold at a local scrap yard.

 

At some point, detectives were able to identify Percy Williams as a suspect.

 

Warrants were obtained for the arrest of Percy Williams on charges of:

           

            *Felony Theft

 

Williams was arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

 

Detectives anticipate additional arrest(s).
