Drug Law Violations - Thursday, October 25, 2018

SUBJECT:      DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – CHANCE MICHAEL RIVERE

 

 

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Chance Michael Rivere, 25, of 2536 Long Branch Drive, Marrero, LA, on drug related charges on Wednesday night.

 

Assumption Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of a local business and a male subject asleep or passed out inside.

 

Upon arrival, deputies removed the person from the vehicle and were able to identify him as Chance Michael Rivere.

 

Rivere appeared disoriented and confused.  Deputies conducted a protective pat down search of Rivere’s person which produced a vial containing numerous doses of Alprazolam.  A small amount of marijuana was seized as well.

 

Rivere was arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on charges of:

 

            *Possession with Intent to Distribute Alprazolam

 

            *Possession of Marijuana (1st Offense)

 

Rivere was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
