DEPARTMENT’S "NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME”
CHEZ HOPE PRESENTATION
LABADIEVILLE – On Thursday evening, Chez Hope, a local
organization that works hard to defeat domestic violence, gave a touching
tribute at the Labadieville Fire Department’s annual "Night Out Against Crime”.
Each pair of shoes in the photographs represents a victim
killed by domestic violence in the past year in Louisiana. Victims included women, men, and children of
Chez Hope has a local representative stationed at the
Sheriff’s Main office on Franklin Street and is open Monday thru Friday. The local office manager is Amber Daigle.
The Thursday night event included a candlelight vigil.
Sheriff Falcon thanks Chez Hope for their important
work in combating domestic violence.
