Search Warrant / Drug Law Violations - Tuesday, September 18, 2018

SUBJECT:      SEARCH WARRANT / DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – KEVIN P. PINTADO

 

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kevin Paul Pintado, 40, of 3246 Highway 70 South, Pierre Part, LA, after narcotics agents executed a search warrant on his home on Monday.

As part of an ongoing narcotics related investigation, agents developed intelligence that indicated Pintado was in possession of a quantity of meth-amphetamine in his home.

Having prior knowledge that Pintado was known to engage in illegal drug related activity, agents applied for and were granted a search warrant for Pintado’s residence.

Agents converged on the residence on Monday evening and did seize a quantity of suspected meth-amphetamine and assorted paraphernalia.

Pintado was arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on counts of:

            *Possession of Meth-Amphetamine

            *Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Pintado was incarcerated and awaits a bond hearing.

Pintado has prior drug law violation arrests in 2011 and 2014 for operation of a clandestine lab.
