Property Crimes / Resisting Arrest - Monday, August 20, 2018

SUBJECT:      PROPERTY CRIMES / RESISTING ARREST – MICHAEL N. MARSHALL

 

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Michael N. Marshall, 33, of 406 Highway 1000, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges Friday night.

Marshall reported to the Detective Bureau in Labadieville to be interviewed by detectives in connection with a theft that occurred earlier Friday on LA 1000 near Belle Rose.

During the interview, Michael Marshall became irate and got into a scuffle with detectives.  During the incident, Sheriff’s Office property was damaged.

Marshall was arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on charges of:

            *Simple Criminal Damage to Property

            *Resisting Arrest with Force or Violence (3 Counts, Felony)

Marshall remains incarcerated with bond set at $10,000 by Judge Tess Stromberg.
