Drug Law Violations - Friday, August 17, 2018

SUBJECT:      DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS / JAMIE RENE WEBER

 

ASSUMPTION Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jamie Rene Weber, 38, of 324 Highway 1012, Napoleonville, LA, on drug law violations Thursday evening.

Narcotics agents, working the LA 400 area, observed a vehicle parked on a headland and a white female near the car.  As agents approached, the female attempted to get back into the vehicle.

The female appeared disoriented.  As agents asked for identification, an item considered as drug paraphernalia fell out of her purse.

At some point, the female now identified as Jamie Rene Weber, consented to a search of her purse.  Agents located the paraphernalia as well as a quantity of meth-amphetamine.

Weber was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

            *Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

            *Possession of Meth-Amphetamine

Weber was released on a $10,000 bond.
